WebBiotech generally has high risk/high reward. It's volatile, but if, for example, your company gets bought out, you cash in big-time on your stock options. Pharma is cushy, but the stocks are usually very stable. Interviewed for three different positions before I landed in a research team. It takes a long time because they have other interviewees lined up and will not give a decision until they’ve completed interviews.

Usually in the morning, I attend to emails and prepare for lab work if we have any experiments planned that day. Usually around 10am I begin any lab work planned. Finish when I finish. Most of the other time I spend writing SOPs, validations, or regulatory-related documents.

Salary ranges- as an entry RA at Pfizer I made $55k 12 years ago, probably closer to 65 now.
